Frequently Asked Questions
How much budget should we spend on advertising?
This is totally up to your business approach, But with our expoeriance we see that it normally takes 3-6 month from the advertising start to when you see it starts to bring new customers.
Why do I need someone to manage my Search ads?
Searchads takes some time to set up and after set up there is a continuos optimization that needs to be done!
First of all you need someone that can monitor the platform and then decide whats needs to be optimized. Normally you want to keep optimizing your campaigns over time. Internet is constantly changing and that means that your online advertisement is changing as well.
Also it is almost impossible to know what bid strategy will work best for your business, we normally have an idea to start with and then suggest a plan that your advertising can follow.
We will test out different ad strategies, monitor and analyze the results we get. We then use the intelligence we get from the results to make more accurate decisions about your online advertising!
How do we know if our advertising is successful or not?
An advertising strategy is what we jointly decide it to be. It may be that you want as many people as possible to recognize your brand and associate it with a particular valuation that you have decided.
A successful advertising strategy can also be that I want as many visitors to my website as possible during the month of July or that I simply want to increase sales over a year, as much as possible! We will help you decide this.
Advertise online, but where? Facebook? Google, Bing? LinkedIn?..
What is the difference? Which one is best for me and how do they differ?
One of the biggest differences between search engine ads (Google, Bing & Yahoo) & Social Media Advertising (ads on eg Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) can be called active or passive interests.
When people search on Google or Bing, they are specifically looking for something while users logged in various social media (Facebook, Linked In, Instagram) will have ads displayed for them, which are based on their interests.
Search engine advertising is good for making it easy for potential customers to find you when they are actively looking for your service;
so you say “Here we are! Look at our GREAT offer!”
You only pay if your ad has caught their interest so much that they click on it. If they do not click but have seen the ad, you do not pay anything.
Advertising on social media is instead based on what users’ interests are. Here the advertiser chooses which users they want to advertise for, based on their interests.
Here you pay a predetermined fee per 1000 impressions (CPM), regardless of how many have clicked or not on your ad.
The latter advertising strategy is often chosen by companies that want to build awareness of their brand, also called brand-building advertising, which is often measured in a different way.
